Using Attributer on development & testing environments
Attributer’s pricing model is by ‘site’. A site is essentially a top-level domain (I.e. attributer.io)
So if you have multiple websites all on the same domain (I.e. the main marketing site at attributer.io and then another website at app.attributer.io) then these would all just be counted as one site.
However, if you have multiple websites at multiple different domains (I.e. attributer.io and attribution.com) then these would be two separate sites for billing purposes.
This can get a little unclear for development and testing sites though. It’s common to have your main production website on a top-level domain (like attributer.io) but then have your testing and development environments for the same site on a different domain (usually one provided by your web host, like attributerdevelopment.wpengine.com).
So long as you are using these environments purely for testing and development purposes, it’s okay to run the Attributer code from your account on these sites. We understand you need to have it on these sites to test.
