Test Attributer code is installed correctly

Once you’ve added the Attributer code to your website via your chosen method, it’s a good idea to go to your website and test that it’s actually loading correctly. Here’s how to do that:

1. Navigate to your website

First, navigate to your website by typing it into your browsers address bar, searching for it in Google, etc.

2. Open the Console

Once on your website, you want to open the ‘Console’. The Console is a feature of your browser that shows you technical information about the website you are visiting (in this case, your website).

If you aren’t sure how to open the Console in your browser, you can find the instructions here.

3. Check for the mentions of Attributer

Once you have opened the Console, you should see 3 lines that mention Attributer like below:

If you see the mentions of Attributer like above (there may be 2 or 3 lines that mention Attributer, both are fine), then Attributer has been correctly installed on your website.

If you don’t see these mentions, then something isn’t correct. Check that you followed the steps to implement Attributer correctly and if you have any issues you can contact us.
